DataRoad Completes Major Server Room Migration Project and Installation of 6,000 Meters of CAT6 Structured Cabling for ETI Simulation & Engineering Solutions

DataRoad has successfully completed yet another technologically complex project, this time for ETI Simulation & Engineering Solutions, involving the complete relocation of the server room, the installation of 6,000 meters of certified CAT6 structured cabling, the connection of 180 meters of fiber optic cable, the reorganization of the network infrastructure, and the complete replacement of the floor boxes.

This project was designed to dramatically improve the reliability, speed, and performance of ETI’s internal communications, ensuring a robust, modern, and future-proof infrastructure.

The main objective was to relocate the server room to a new location, ensuring:

Improved climate control and safety
Increased scalability
Greater network reliability and redundancy
Effective communication between three different rooms

To this end, DataRoad carried out the following:

Complete replacement of the old wiring
6,00 0 meters of CAT6 Gigabit cabling
Installation of 180 meters of high-performance fiber optic cable
Preparation, assembly, and connection of three racks (2 for communications and 1 for servers)
Integration of the new room with all existing workstations
Implementation of a Gigabit network with structural improvements to the client's infrastructure
